I used up all the Photo Grid Spots in page 1 so it is off with page 2, Delivery....
Today January 11, 2010, I shipped the second part of the order, the 15 Accountability Tag Boards and work continues on the 15 Door Entry Boards. Some Fire Departments us a 2 Tag System. When the Firemen arrives at the Fire he gives his first Accountability Tag to the Chief or the Firemen assigned to do Accountability. It is clipped on the Big Accountability Board and a Assignment is given. The Accountability Tag Firemen writes the assignment in the block along with the time and if the Firemen was in FULL Protective Equipment.
If the Firemen was assigned to go into a burning building then the Building Entry Board is used at the entry point and the 2nd tag is clipped on the Building Entry Board and a time noted and if he was in Full Protective Equipment. This theory is modeled after Coal Miners and the Mine Entry Tag System.
Departments using a 3rd tag sometimes use the 3rd tag to be clipped on a Truck Ring so the Chief knows who is assigned with each truck. In the Case of the Kentucky Fire Departments, I supplied 69 Truck Rings and Tags. The Rings were direct shipped so I did not get any pictures yet. Chris has Scheduled Training so I am hoping to get pictures to add to this web page.
The back of the Door Entry Board and the Big Accountability Board is able to be written on with the China Marker or a Dry Marker with data like the Power Pole Number needed for a power cut or the License Numbers of Cars involved in a Accident. It can also be used to make lists or drawings of the location. A Quick Scratch Pad.
